Ultralight Ultralight Rifles

Where is this on sale, please?
Also, where would we find the 15% coupon?
TNX!
They're not on sale, that's the regular price.

Not sure how much some of yalls diy handgaurds weigh, but I picked up a Trybe magnite 12” and it’s lighter than the advertised weight of the Faxon carbon fiber.

Advertised weight is 5.25 oz. Faxon 10” carbon fiber is advertised at 6.24 with hardware. I thought about doing a diy one, but wanted an easy mlok attachment for a mini arca rail. Seems like a good option at $62.

I picked up a few of the Trybe handguards. For the price and weight it’s hard not to—great value and very functional. My current ULUL has one, and I will be putting one on my next ultralight build as well.

It’s nice that it has a QD sling attachment point too.

Thank you! I just ordered 2x. I know once I build one for me, it will not be long before one of my brothers or my dad kidnaps it. The perks and down fall of a suppressor/gun trust.

Growing up I snagged my dad's tools. Now, he snags my sunglasses, ratchet straps, rifles and suppressors!

Can one of you experts suggest a state of the art parts list for a ULUL? Trying to shoot Black Hills 5.56 TMK. Side charger is fine. 16” preferred. Do need an arca rail (even if mini).

Unless you want to build "custom parts", the very first build in this thread, with a couple of tweaks since then, is it.

Changes (assuming purchased parts):

I'd switch to a Shaw portless 223 Wylde barrel
A Kaw Valley PCC handguard or, for an Arca rail, a Trybe Defense handguard.

The last change currently would have to be different choices for the LPK as NFA isn't offering the Poly LPK.

Probably have to use aluminum pivot pins, trigger of choice, and probably a steel safety as I've not seen an aluminum safety.

If money isn't an object, the Smoke Composites stocks are nicer than the A2/Farrow Tech combo, but the latter still works fine.

The Jag Composites handguard is still probably the lightest available, but much more money than the other two listed.

Thank you. So that would be starting with a TN arms carbon 15 lower?

I'm under 5# with optic and suppressor

mU1FyF6.jpeg
Solo 300 upper
Mil spec aluminum lower
Shaw portless barrel (mine shoots rather well)
Farrow Tech stock on regular rifle buffer tube
Metal lower parts kit with CMC 3.5# trigger
KAW PCC handguard
Primary Arms 3x micro prism
Gemtech Tracker

I honestly wouldn't want it any lighter. I'm not nearly as good offhand with the ULUL as my RS 95 coming in at 7ish#s. Prone or supported kneeling is fine.
