Ultralight Ultralight Rifles

Anybody tried the 3x? Just wondering if eye relief/ Target acquisition is any better or different than the 5X. Maybe this has been covered, I suck at searching. @goalie have you used the 5x and the 3X?
I have. I prefer the 3x, but I also don't usually have longer shots. If I was looking at 250-350 yards, I'd go 5x every time with no complaints.

The included mount makes getting the eye relief you want easy with both, but you need loctite as it's 3 pieces.

You know, I've bought a bunch from them over the years & I've never had a bad experience yet.
I guess we'll find out if this is gonna be the first 😁
In their defense, I've never been ripped off by them, but I have had a few "in stock" items take over a month or be cancelled.

I’ve had good experiences with OpticsPlanet. I’ve also ordered “in stock” items, paid in full, and then some items are not shipped with the rest of the order.
When I called, it was acknowledged that it would be month(s) before the remaining items would be back in stock.
I asked for a refund, and the charge was promptly returned.
Just annoying to have to deal with an unnecessary runaround.

I am only up to post 3146 and still playing catchup with the rest of you. Are yall still preferring the TN Arms Carbon Fiber lower with bass inserts?

Any experience with this Poly lower from Palmetto?

With black Friday sales, I am attempting to catch up and make a few purchases. Thanks for helping a slow reader.

I won't usually badmouth PSA because everything I've built with their stuff has been exceptional. However... unless the poly lower has some kind of metal inserts for the buffer tube attachment, I'd avoid it. There are a LOT of online complaints, not specifically about PSA, regarding poly lowers cracking on top of the thread. I can't find any bad reports about the Tegra carbon lowers, but the TN job having the brass threads kinda tips the scales in its favor.

I'd personally consider what your target weight is before going polymer lower.

I easily kept my 16" 223 Wylde under 5# with silencer, optic, and mag using a Solo 300 upper and regular lower without expensive/Gucci parts.

I would not want anything lighter.

I've cracked a buffer tower on an NFA (same as Tegra, which is what NFA replaced it with) and the FMK doesn't look too different, so I'd suggest sticking with the TN Arms. It's both lighter and most likely stronger than the FMK and only about $16 more than the FMK at the moment. Not worth the savings for that part, IMO.

That product isn't provided by PSA but a 3rd party vendor. I don't know when PSA started the marketplace type stuff but this is an example.

"This product is fulfilled by a PSA Partner and shipping times may vary."
