Anybody tried the 3x? Just wondering if eye relief/ Target acquisition is any better or different than the 5X. Maybe this has been covered, I suck at searching. @goalie have you used the 5x and the 3X?Primary Arms Microprism are on sale. Will there be a better deal than 15% off?

I have. I prefer the 3x, but I also don't usually have longer shots. If I was looking at 250-350 yards, I'd go 5x every time with no complaints.Anybody tried the 3x? In their defense, I've never been ripped off by them, but I have had a few "in stock" items take over a month or be cancelled. You know, I've bought a bunch from them over the years & I've never had a bad experience yet.
I guess we'll find out if this is gonna be the first![]()
If you qualify for .mil/veterans discount, it's worth making an account at PA.Thanks didn’t realize the microprisms could be found anywhere other than PA website

I am only up to post 3146 and still playing catchup with the rest of you. Are yall still preferring the TN Arms Carbon Fiber lower with bass inserts?
Any experience with this Poly lower from Palmetto?
With black Friday sales, I am attempting to catch up and make a few purchases. Thanks for helping a slow reader.
I've cracked a buffer tower on an NFA (same as Tegra, which is what NFA replaced it with) and the FMK doesn't look too different, so I'd suggest sticking with the TN Arms. It's both lighter and most likely stronger than the FMK and only about $16 more than the FMK at the moment. Not worth the savings for that part, IMO.I am only up to post 3146 and still playing catchup with the rest of you. Are yall still preferring the TN Arms Carbon Fiber lower with bass inserts?

I won't usually badmouth PSA because everything I've built with their stuff has been exceptional. However... unless the poly lower has some kind of metal inserts for the buffer tube attachment, I'd avoid it. There are a LOT of online complaints, not specifically about PSA, regarding poly lowers cracking on top of the thread. I can't find any bad reports about the Tegra carbon lowers, but the TN job having the brass threads kinda tips the scales in its favor.
