Ultralight Tripod Options

It’s not strictly ultralight. But I recently bought one of the new gen Tricer AD tripods. With the triangular center post. I wanted a tripod I could glass standing up with. Anyhow, I am 5’9” and tricer sold me a center column meant for the BC for $10 plus shipping, it is 3.1 oz lighter than the AD center column and still allows me to glass standing up. It’s not much, but it does put it within 4 oz of the standard BC setup with quite a bit of extra height.

Again, not super ultralight. But it puts a standing height tripod with a wiser bt-20 head at 34 oz total.
