Yeah, I’m gonna try to not throw anything but time into mine if I can help it! Any idea what your action is made from?

I can see the case fitting the chamber for multiple firings, my neck sized brass cases usually fit for several firings. My question would be about maintaining neck tension over multiple firings.

I wonder how well a neck sizing die would work with them(??). I also wonder if they'd start popping primers at those higher pressures. Certainly might open up some different reloading angles with powder choices, etc.
So, the guy at Phantom said the neck tension was more consistent, but I didn't think to ask about neck sizing, your neck size only idea is a great idea!
He also said the primers often don't show pressures until you're waaay over pressure, like 100k+, so I think the pockets are a non issue with the 2 piece design.
@ACHILLES He also said no problem with the SOLO300 bolt. I'm thinking of shooting for 70-75k so the cases last much longer, but the wear on the rifle sounds like a non issue. Still getting many thousands of rounds through gas guns...

My 5.5 lb including everything 308 was pretty rough, a 5lb 12 gauge, wow, probably like those cheap single shots I shot as a kid, not fun.

Have you fired this ammo and had fired brass to measure or test for chamber fitment? Or are you just speculating.......

Something about the design of the cases is what should make the difference. The case is taking the extra pressure, not the action. Same idea as behind the new "7 Backcountry" cartridge id guess.
if I remember correctly, Mike Bellm told me 223 was on the edge of what the contender frame could take. It was pressure/ rear thrust related, so I wouldn't even try 5.56 pressures, but I could be mixed up as it's been a long time.

He's just thinking about potential problems. I did order a box last night, so I'll have some of the magic brass soon!
