Looking to mix things up in my workout routine, I picked up the UFC Fit program on eBay for around $30. I've been primarily focused on strength training (5x5s) for the past couple of months and wanted to switch my focus back to cardio while trying to limit losses on the strength side. I've found that changing my focus every few months minimizes boredom and keeps me in pretty good overall shape. Anyway, I'm on my 3rd day of the UFC program and I'm pretty pleased with it. It's along the lines of p90x, but with a MMA spin to it. I'm not all that intrigued by the fighting aspect of it, but it certainly gets the blood pumping and adds some variety to my workouts. For the price, I'm very happy with it. Just figured I'd share it in the event that someone wants to pick up a copy while it's still available at that price.

I like to mix it up with metabolic chains. I'll set up something as simple as push ups, air squats and pull ups done for pyramids, pyraminds are done as 5,6,7,8,9,10,9,8,7,6,5 as your rep counts. Goblet squats, rows and dumbell press are another good one to work the whole body, just use about half the weight you normally use and increase it slowly over time.
