My Dad's treestand das are behind him. Old Man Time waits for no one, unfortunately. I'm looking to put a two-man ladder stand in his favorite swamp for him. Does anyone have one they can recommend for all-day comfort? An arm rest/shooting rest would be a bonus. TIA!

Millenium 2 man would be my first choice, they are great and comfortable.

I would not hesitate to use a hawk or muddy two man stand. I have a hawk 2 man I have hunted in with my brother and also another guy, none of us were over 200# and fit comfortable and the stand was solid.

I am sure I am missing a few brand names out there.

I’ve got a few that mainly used for kids and us dads. Couple are nice and some aren’t.

The main thing I look for is does the floor footprint match the above front railing. I’ve seen too many oops moment with a smaller foot floor than the railing. Not discounting comfort at all, but if balance and unstable footing has set in I’d also look at that.

On our shared mtn here in the Ozarks we have a couple dozen Walmart 2-man ladder stands. We buy them in bulk at the end of season when they go on clearance. We take the bottom 3-foot section off and use extra ratchet straps to make it extra secure. A section of conveyor belt on the food pad section to keep the metal from leaching heat from your feet help immensely. A good pad on the seat makes it comfy for us old guys, kids, etc. A good safety system for clipping in when climbing up and down helps makes it easy access for kids and elders too.
It less about the stand and way more about the way it is set up.

This. Make sure you buy something with a full size floor from tree to railing. Safer and more comfortable.
