Due to a large electrician's bill for our new home, my wife and I must make hard decisions. She's not allowed to buy any more clothing or shoes, and I must downsize my gun collection.

This is my favorite rifle as of late, a custom Tikka .223 that's as fun as anything I've ever shot. It's sighted in and ready to kill this fall, so I'll sell it as a turnkey solution for $2,500 plus shipping. Details of the rifle are below:

--Tikka T3x Compact barreled action
--Barrel cut at 17 inches and threaded 1/2-28 by Silencer Central
--MDT HNT26 folding chassis with Spartan MLOK adaptor (note, the hulking carbon fiber grip from MDT has been replaced by a slimmer Hogue version)
--Seekins 30mm low rings
--Bushnell LRHS 3-12x44mm scope

I maybe have 200 rounds down the tube, so it's barely broken in and shoots great. I've never done a 10- or 20-round group with it, but with Black Hills' 77-grain TMK loads, it's more accurate than I am.

NOTE: Rifle does not come with suppressor, bipod, or golden retriever!

The wig would have sealed the deal… not putting a porcupine on my head.

I had no idea what it was. I was trying to figure out how it was a golden retriever, lol. Then I scrolled down to the doggie.

Crazy blonde porky! They are fantastic meat if you haven’t eaten them! Good luck with sale, wish I could afford another tikka right now!

Just work them from the soft (belly) side and you avoid the pokies. If you do get poked it’s recommended to clean the wound as the quills can hold bacteria. Other than that they’re a breeze. Little Montreal and put it on the grill or use it do make stew.
