Anyone making a 410 suppressor yet? With the tax stamp gone and so many new designs coming out, I really want to see a simple aluminum/steel suppressor designed to work with a turkey choke and TSS load.

Single shot 410, red dot, suppressed would be a dream setup for turkeys.

Banish are the only ones I’ve seen. To be fair, I’ve not researched the topic a lot though either. I do know they released the 20 gauge and 410 options earlier this year.

I have looked into it a little bit. Would love to shoot suppressed with turkey loads but seems like manufacturing has a long way to go. Current options are big and heavy and not that great at sound reduction and expensive. I went with high quality shooting ear pro (Otto noizebarrier) instead and will see how that works. I can shoot suppressed with a rifle in my state for turkey but that’s not how I want to turkey hunt. It’s just too much fun with a shotgun.

I have been thinking about doing a form 1 integral suppressor. Drill some holes in the barrel, put a tube over it and then either do baffles or just pack it with stainless steel. A single shot 410 is cheap, only a few shots each year, so cleaning should be a non issue. Shotguns are not that loud to start with, low 150’s, so getting under 140 should be easy.

Otto noizebarrier earplugs are they worth the money? Are they comfortable?

Yeah, that really does seem like the way, but machining anything like that is really out of my wheelhouse.

Have you checked out some of the ones they're doing in the UK? Hushpower? They're frustratingly inexpensive. I'm hoping someone does something similar in the US now that the market is expanding and costs are decreasing.

I haven’t hunted with them yet but they are comfortable. I have tried cheaper stuff and returned it. They seem like they should work fine and directional hearing outside is good from my testing. Only negative I have heard for turkeys is that the noise canceling feature lasts for a second or so after loud calling and could miss a gobble if he’s right on top of the call. Figure I will just put them in once I have a gobbler located and not calling as loud.

All Ottos are out of stock everywhere til June I found out. But Etymotic gunsport pro elite is the same exact product.
