Turkey Hunting Florida

Planning a trip to Florida next spring to try and land an Osceola turkey. Anyone have any recommendations/advice for southern hunting? I live in the Midwest so this is a new experience.

I lived there for 16 years. Hire a Guide,kill your bird and be done.
It's all about access down there. The Public land sucks.

I agree above the land is the big thing. Other then that its a turkey, hunt them the same

Thermocell and snakeboots!!! Don’t leave home without them. There are a few wmas with really good turkey populations, but you will spend years waiting to draw a permit. The easy to draw permits are pretty heavily pounded.
