TRT

Steroids are not a bad thing if they are managed by a Doctor. Looking at people like Rogan and Cam, sign me up.

I'm 51. My initial vel was 272 and the prescribed 1mg/week. My next blood work it was 630. Make sure they monitor your Estradiol. That can cause worse symptoms than the low T.
I don't know of Cam or Rogan being on anything but TRT. I'm sure some people suspect whatever, but frankly, I don't care. Mainly because of the point of what you said about Dr monitoring. This is super important. For whatever reason, my RBC and estrogen levels have always stayed lower than what a lot of guys generally experience when they are on TRT.

A lot of people do not understand how much diet effects muscle growth and body composition. Until a few years ago, I drank beer daily, didn't eat enough and didn't eat properly in general. Just dialing that in had a dramatic effect.

At what point does it go from "TRT" to you're just on steroids?

I know plenty of people that got "TRT" from Dr's just to juice, in fact I know a Dr. (Whom, in an unbelievable stroke of irony, is named Chad) who specializes in this sort of thing.

There is a WIDE gap between performance enhancing drugs/steroids and TRT. Testosterone is a very small piece of a bodybuilding substance regimen and at that they will take 2-10X+ what people get prescribed for TRT.

I’ve been on TRT for 4+ years and have seen no wild physique enhancement that most imagine from having normal levels due to TRT. The only noticeable difference is I don’t lose muscle as fast when I have time off from working out. Was lifting much heavier back in my days before starting. It has been more mind muscle connection than moving X weight. Rather stay healthy than risk injury lifting heavy.

I really don't know if you are serious or trolling at this point.

100% serious. I don't use steroids but if I could afford it, I would probably take HGH supervised by a doctor. Why not? If I could recover better, not feel like an old man every morning getting out of bed. I think steroids get a bad rap from body builders using enough to kill a horse. No wonder they all die under 40.

Sounds like you probably know more about this than I do.
I am still nervous about side effects that may go overlooked because someone sweeps it under the rug as it's a mode of income for them or dudes are still in the honeymoon phase .

49yo started TRT 6 month ago. Was tested at 204 before treatment. I lift 3x week and do cardi 2x week. Went Elk hunting in Colorado last year at 9k and I though I was in great shape. My buddy who does not work out hiked me under the table and was not sore the next day where I was very sore that day and every day. Stated TRT and immediately noticed a difference in my energy level, sex drive and endurance. And I gained muscle mass and became leaner. Started on 1 200ml every two week which sucked and was very high then low at end. Now 1 x 100 weekly and I feel incredible. Still only testing at like 360. Cost for me is $4/month as it covered by insurance. Only side effect is you balls shrink as I didnt want to take even more stuff. Cant say enough good things about it. Joints feel great and honestly I feel happier.

There is no conspiracy theory going on here. Doctors don't get money for the TRT you buy. Or the needles or tests they have you take. They get paid for repeat visits that you would probably see them for regardless of TRT.

It is a very widely prescribed and tolerated treatment that has a lot of upside and little to no downside.

Some doctors are very knowledgeable about the subject and also know a lot about other hormonal issues that can have good and bad effects. A lot of doctors (like the thread on nutrition a while back) don't know shit about it. Those are the ones to avoid.

If anything, doctors and the globalist don't want you to use TRT. It's relatively cheap and it relieves the symptoms of probably 5 other prescriptions. They also want docile man women that won't get angry and fight back.

That's a point of view I can get on board with

Side Note;

My pharmacy was giving me 23Gauge 1.5” needles to inject… Completely unnecessary.
I began buying sterile needles myself (Amazon, Online Pharmacies) that were 27 Gauge and .5” long.

Physically less pain, less scar tissue and mentally a LOT easier to self inject a .5” needle than a 1.5” needle.

* Should go without saying, please use an 18 Gauge needle to draw up and sterile alcohol 4x4’s to pre clean the vial/needles and injection site before pinning*

I prefer the 23g 1-1.5 needles. It just takes forever using the 27g. I've used the 22g for a long time. Every once in a while I'll get a spot that has some pain the next day, but not often.

Doesn’t take but a couple seconds with a 27G. Most guys are injecting less than 1cc anyways, not like you’re trying to push something crazy like 5cc

Also the risk of hitting a bone or nerve is significantly less with a .5” needle than say a 1.5” needle. Scar tissue build up is a real thing. You’ll have to alternate glutes, thighs, delts eventually. Scar tissue buildup will be less with smaller needles than a larger 22/23G needle.

.5” is plenty for SubQ or IM injections, testosterone can be injected SubQ or IM (dependent on the quantity injected)

At the end of the day it’s your body, make the best decision after research and do what works best for YOU.

I agree with all of that. I recently got a box of .5" 27g needles that I'm going to use. I have very little body fat so I have a lot of options when it comes to injection sites. I've never done my delts. Typically glutes, or quads, either really high or low. I have very large calves sp that is an option i guess.

I use the easy touch .5" 27 gauge. Lots of guys drawing and injecting with the same needle (myself included) with no issues.

It’s your body and finances. 18GA needles are relatively cheap and the possible risks of contamination and inflicting more pain with a duller needle used X2 are real.

But as long as you have a good cleaning protocol, you should be alright using the same needle.

What a Pussy....really?

Relax- this is sarcasm. As a self admitted needle phobe- this was my goal. I am a Numbers Guy. And when I can see down the hole inside of a needle...that was about my threshold.

Would take me several beers to run an 18g injection.

25 - 1.5" was my standard and got to be mainstream over time. I ran a handful of 23g just to make sure I could do it and overcome some anxiety.

I would inject anywhere from hip flexor to my quad. Hit a lot of nerves over the years. And I would generally inject the syringe to the balls (plastic).

Probably much better technique and locations. I couldn't rotate my torso to hit my own glutes. So I ran where I could reach.

I don't ever recall an issue "waiting forever" to push 120/140 with a 25g. Seemed easy enough.

Daily cream is soooo much easier.

My Spanish is pretty good. But still felt like an addict trying to communicate with a hospital in Cozumel asking them for a syringe to inject testosterone while on vacation. Was sketch enough entering the country w a vial in my carry one. Cream is so much more simple.

I coulda hit all sorts of Deca and Winstrol while I was there for just a couple bucks tho........:)

An 18ga needle looks like a finishing nail. You have to be a real man to use those.

31g insulin here. Have used 25g, 27, and 29 as well. Draw with 18-23g and inject with 25-31. No issues ever.

I draw with an 18 gauge, inject with an insulin syringe. Completely painless 99.9% of the time.

There us a whole "Sub Q- daily inject" clan vs "IM weekly" clan. Daily would seem like a PITA (get it?) to me.

I didn't see or feel too much up and down w once weekly.
