So, i'm a pig hunter. Rabidly so, in fact. I prefer hunting hogs to just about anything else on the planet. I've hunted them in 8 states & on 3 continents.

But tonight I did something I never ever thought i'd manage.

I.

Shot.

A.

MONSTER!

I knew it was big from the trail cam pic, but I had no clue......I have to add, this was completely free range. No lodge, no fences, no pay-to-play & it was here in middle TN.... just a straight up hand to God feral hog. I've seen big pigs before. The kind of hogs that really get your blood pumping, but in 12 years & probably thousands of hours of hunt time I've never, ever seen a pig like this.

12 FOOT, running neck shot with my .300blk.

I have harvested some very large wild pigs. That one is about as big as they get. If your rifle was not on the pig and your hand on your rifle, I might have thought you were several feet behind it. That is one fat pig. Congratulations!!!!!!

Ooh DAYUM!!! HEllz YEah Man!!! I know you're ridin' that high ooh my! Congratulations man that definitely is a once in a lifetime BFP there!

3 guys, 6 beers & a friendly farmer with a front loader! Luckily i have a buddy lives a few miles away & he showed up with a UTV tow strap & his cousin.

Nice. I've hog hunted twice in FL and had a blast both times. Wounded a hog and he went into some palmettos and came charging out at me. A little different than deer hunting!

I have a liftgate on my truck. If I can drive to the pig(s), I love that thing. Once, 2 of us had pigs stacked all the way to the top of the bed. I really wish I took a picture of that, as here in Ca, that is just unheard of. To top if off, we drove the truck up to the pigs, slid or rolled them onto the lift gate and in the bed.

I've never heard of a liftgate..... imma go googling.

That is a monster! I didn’t know we had them like that in TN, glad they haven’t made their way over here yet!
