Tripod and Mounts

I’m just starting to search for a new tripod/mount setup and and am looking for some input. I’d like to find something that is lightweight enough to take on backpacking trips but also durable enough to get bounced around a little in the side by side from time to time. I’m not looking to break the bank but also understand you get what you pay for. I’m familiar with the outdoorsman’s, spartan’s, manfrotto, slik etc. Any input on why you like a certain tripod and mount better then the others is appreciated. I’d be using it for a spotter, binos and possibly to shoot off of. Thanks

I’ve had great dealings with the guys over at camera land so I’d probably give them a shot as well as Two Vets tripods. I’ve really enjoyed my no name jr tripod
