Tripod adapters.... Tray style vs screw on mount

I've been using the field optics research tripod adapter but have never liked how finicky it can be. Is anyone using the tray type? Are any of the tray type ones better than any other? I'm looking at the $20 Leupold one.

I think that outdoorsmans bino hand is pretty sweet if you want a tray type. Haven't used one though.

It is pretty sweet. I actually prefer it over my Outdoorsmans Bino Stud

I have a quick release mount that works great for quickly taking my scope on and off my tripod. An added bonus is being able to use the quick release to instantly change from the tripod to window mount on my truck. It's also super solid.

I prefer the tray style because they are usable with multiple sizes and brands of binos.
