I just purchased a meopta meostar HD 10x42

I am looking for the best tripod adapter options. I dont know much about these things yet.

I have a Manfrotto 700RC2 tripod head mounted on my Siuri t1204X tripod. . . .I want to be able to switch from spotter to binos rapidly, on the single tripod.

Debating between the meopta adapter and the field optics research adapter. Anyone with hands on experience out there with either of these??

The meopta costs about 3X as much as the other....

I used the Field Optics adapter and the top clip broke within a few days. I then got the Outdoorsmans bino adpater and it is bomb proof.

We sell a few Field Optics adapters every week and I have never had a complaint. I have been using one for a couple years and love it. Plus for the money, you really cant beat it.

Also, I would suggest buying it from S&S archery, they have awesome customer service and a Rokslide member discount.

When I got my Field optics, it was really tight if not stuck together. I took the clip off and sanded the shaft smooth. I just set the binos on it and run without a clip. The only issue I have had was when I left the pan head loose and it rolled over and fell off. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

I found that if you loosen the screw just a half turn it usually softens up nicely. At that point the bino's slide on and off with just the right amount of friction.

Also if you every have any problems one, we'll make sure you are taken care of. Just let me know.
