Tripod adapter and Zeiss

I don’t have them but how easy is it to add an Outdoorsman or Field Optic Research Tripp’s stud to a pair of Zeiss Conquest binos? Has the cap with the Z on...

Piece of cake, there is a plasitic cap that unscrews and you screw either of those posts back in, done.

NO. Don't drill into the cap. Whoever said that probably couldn't figure out how to get that cap to unscrew.

Yeah as noted just unscrew it. Its flat w/o texture but just press down on it to create friction between the flat surface and your finger when you start to unscrew it at first.

When the conquests first came out that cap was glued in.

I have no idea why Zeiss would do that after they took the trouble to provide a 1/4x20 adapter thread.
