I just bought a CVA Accura V2 and had a quick question before I go to the range on Saturday. I’m gonna start off with 50g triple 7 pellets and 250g Barnes tmz. If I bought a box of triple 7 magnum 60g pellets and box of 30g pellets can I mix match them to get different loads? One 50 and one 60 to get a 110g charge, or two 50 and one 30 to get a 130g charge? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m green at this and don’t want anything bad to happen.
Happy thanksgiving!

I probably will later down the road but I can’t find 209 magnum primers. Will Winchester triple 7 primers work?

I use Triple 7 and load 2-50 gr. pellets whether I'm practicing or hunting. I was told I could shoot up to 150 grains of Triple 7 but I have never done that. 100 grains shoots well for me. I shoot a TC Omega.

Just run the two 50’s or step up to 2 60’s. When you can find cci or federal primers step to bh209 100g by volume and work up or down from that.

my uncles accura likes 100g t7

I appreciate the thought. Muzzleloading primers are about the only primers I can find right now unfortunately.

@wjarrell So how did it shoot with different charges? I bought the same gun, still waiting for it to arrive and researching powder and sabot options. You may be green with a MZ but I’m even greener! Thanks

For BH 209 you need cci or federal primers
I’ve had no problem using Winchester 209 shotgun primers with Blackhorn 209, also shot some 4th brand I can’t remember and it still went boom. Is your experience those are the only primers that work or you get the best groups with them?

The best I got was 2 triple 7 magnum pellets and a 250 gr SST. Gave me a 1.5” group at 50 yards with open sights.
