Does anyone have any time behind one of these yet? Slim picking on reviews. Trying to decide if the new reticle and extra zoom is worth spending extra money over the 3-18x44 with the tree.

I am between this and a NF ATACR in the 4-16x42... I realize that is a little bit of an apples and oranges comparison, but that is where I landed. How is the reticle on the 5x power setting? Unfortunately, I can't find either of these scopes locally to look for myself!

i like my tenmile 18x better than my nf nxs 22x. However the reticle is a little busy but doesnt really bother me.

Reticle is thin on 5x. In a thicket a 6am you'd need illumination. Windage hash is difficult to see but I wouldn't expect it to be used if on 5x anyway. Lowest I've had it when hunting was 10x and I don't recall any issues; normally on 22x.

I think the 3-18 would be a PERFECT fit for me if it had the reticle the 5-25 hx has... Can't win em all!

agreed! I wish it didnt have the Christmas tree reticle. but IMO the other pros outweigh that 1 con, I really find it doesnt bother me

Hey, Can you tell me if the illumination lights up just the dot, or the entire reticle?
