That's cool! Apparently I need this Strelok Pro.

It's been banned because the guy who created it is Russian. I upgraded phones and lost it
I'm hanging on to my Pixel 6 forever! Lol... It has a huge reticle database so pretty easy to pick these random BDC subtensions and see where they line up or play with different ammos and such. Hopefully the app gets unbanned before I need a new phone.

So, I ended up ordering the Ascent 3-12x40. I will report back on the eye relief when I get it. Time will have to tell on zero hold, but based on the Huron test, I think it should be good.

Same here. Pixel 6A. There's a Strelok group on Facebook, some good information on there. Igor (the creator) is very active on it.

Dammit man I'm gonna have to resurrect my old Facebook account if it's not been deleted, which I doubt they'd ever do that. I'd imagine there's ways to install from sources other than the play store but I also don't want Russian spyware on my phone lol.

I replaced the [2] Credo 3-9x40's on my Tikka T3X .223 & .308 with 3-12x40 Hurons.

No issues with eye relief and I really like them.

I also have a 2.5-10 Huron, and the eye relief is much larger than the advertised 2.4 inches at 10x. It is really easy to get behind and I don’t find myself having to adjust my cheek weld moving from lowest to highest magnification. Scope is crystal clear edge to edge and turrets are very positive with audible clicks.

I don't know that the advertised number is incorrect because I didn't measure it, but otherwise my experience matches exactly the quoted post. I put mine on a Marlin .444 that has a healthy recoil and tends to have some muzzle rise, so eye relief is important. I found absolutely no issue with the 2.5-10 Huron.

The Ascent arrived yesterday and I got mounted up. No issues with eye relief at all. Glass is super clear for the price point. No regrets so far.

The reticle is fine. I prefer the 2 moa hashes to the huron reticle.

What internal differences are there in the accupoint?

Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
I'm no expert but I believe the Accupoint has a wire reticle or something due to the fiber optic/tritium illumination. I'd imagine that also requires different internal adjustment system and such. Someone else will hopefully chime in with more specifics, I don't know too much about them.

Another data point for you here. I put a Huron 3-9 on my 7mm-08 mountain rifle about six months ago. Super quick tracking test, zeroed it, off to the races.

Dragged that thing across Alaska for moose, back to the east coast, then to WY for antelope and elk, then back to the east coast. Not a scientific test, but when I checked zero after a fall of antics it cut the bullseye at 100. I'll be putting them on all my set and forget type rifles.

Are there any ascents or huron's with adjustable turrets? It seems like they don't offer adjustable turrets in the even in the 15x. Or is the idea that you just take off the cap and do it? Seems like at that price level you'd be able to do it. On their website, they offer custom turrets for Credos and higher- or scopes with "return to zero" turrets. So there Credo is different in that way, partially internally right?
I'm looking for something that holds zero really well and has turret adjustment. My VX3 has proven really shock proof over the years- non-scientifically. Just practically. But I'd love to get a turret.

Huron and ascents are both capped turrets only. That being said, they are adjustable in that you just have to uncap to dial. They share all the same internals and glass as all other Trijicon scopes, however these lines don’t have side focus or illumination. Otherwise they are every bit as good when it comes to glass quality and ruggedness.
