I need a sfp scope for my big game rifle. 2.5-15 will be plenty for what I want. Must have mil adj. Please give me your thoughts on these two scopes or another good option.

Personally I like trijicons and would choose that between those two options.
Since you asked about “…or another good option”, if you want more than 10x-ish magnification I would need a ffp scope, and would get one with a reticle I can use for hunting (since I assume thats why you specified 2fp??). I like my s&b klassik 3-12, but the maven 1.2 is popular, swfa’s are popular, and all of those have a reputation as durable, reliable scopes with mil adjustments, that also have good hunting reticles.

I can’t comment on the trijicon, when I got serious about my shooting about 3 years ago I was on a budget and I still am. I have an Athlon Ares BTR and now I also own a Athlon Cronus. The Ares has bumped around on a few hundred miles of pretty rough roads, and been through around 1000 rounds of 6.5 prc and 7 prc and has never lost zero or failed to track for me. The Cronus has been the same so far but hasn’t seen the same abuse. I’m not claiming Athlon has the same durability as a trijicon, just adding my experience so far.
