Trijicon AccuPoint???

Probably not as reliable as the well-regarded Tenmile, but likely on par with the Credo.

FWIW, I conducted my own mini-drop test (tracking, RTZ, 18”& 36” drops) on a 3-9x40 mil-dot Accupoint.

My results were very similar to Form’s 3-9x40 Credo evaluation:

On my Accupoint, one of the 36” drops did cause the subsequent group to open up quite a bit. However, it returned to normal after running the elevation turret up/down a rev and back to zero.

I concluded that it was reliable enough for its intended use.

If people are going to extrapolate to all the tenmile scope models and all the credo scope models together, based off the reports from one model of tenmile and one or two models of credo, then probably yes. There are tenmile models with a wire reticle, for example, just as there are 1” tube models of the credo that fared pretty darn well but technically did not pass the eval here (as noted just above, with some folks claiming a 1” tube scope wont be as robust as a 30 or 34mm scope).
My impression anecdotally and personally where I have experience is the accupoints seem to be similar to trijicons other scopes, and also have some of the same variation in eye relief, size, weight, etc as their other scopes, some of which I think is likely to influence durability to a degree. My 1-6 accupoint is one of my favorite scopes, great eyebox, exceptionally easy scope to get behind, and as far as I can tell from pre and post-season zero checks it has held zero so far. But I havent done a “drop test”, and other than that^ Im not aware of anyone having done a legit one on an accupoint, if thats what you mean.

Perhaps foolish, but I trust Trijicon products implicitly. They are built to be used hard.

Sample size of one, but my Accupoint is one of the best scopes I have ever used.

Thanks. Seems the wire reticle is usually the focus when this topic comes up, but apparently the higher mag tenmiles are wire too. I’m not a huge fan of the light gathering chunk on the eyepiece but other than that accupoints have the features I’m looking for vs. some of the other models.

I havnt had an issue with mine, but i havnt used it hard. if they made one in 50 mm id buy another in a second. with that said, i actually enjoy looking thru my leupold freedom better. i just see better thru it, thats me. i dont use it anymore tho cause i want reliabilty
