Saw an email advertising a new "Rough Diamond" trigger line......supposedly more robust for real world situations. @Formidilosus you gonna test one with your overnight snow bath?
BnA are complex for sure. I wish TT would design over travel into them so there is no wall immediately behind the break. The follow through of the squeeze is my favorite part of the BnA triggers.I just swapped out all my Bix n Andy’s for the rough diamonds. Wasn’t a fan of the complexity of the Bix. I doubt they fair any different than the other TT’s though.

I did like the follow through of the Bix, but it was the only thing I liked about them. So I gave it up to go back to more simple TT. But I know exactly what you’re talking about.BnA are complex for sure. I wish TT would design over travel into them so there is no wall immediately behind the break. I don’t believe so. Everything I looked into seemed more like marketing as far as being more “durable” with the release of the rough diamond.I was under the impression the only real difference between the TT models was oil weight. Does the rough diamond offer anything over the primary if both are set at 2.5ish lb?
Yeah special is the best all around choice for a TTNo bolt release?
I went with the TT Special over the Diamond for the price, bolt release and fact that I do not need a sub 1# trigger on a hunting rifle.
Triggertech creep chart. They do vary between models. They no longer have this chart on the website. I might infer that the Rough D might not be quite as good as the Diamond as far as creep goes. You may not be able to tell though.I was under the impression the only real difference between the TT models was oil weight. Even looking at this, when they’re set at the same pull weight they look like they have the same creep. Definitely not seeing anything that would make me want to spend the extra money over the primary unless the new rough diamond really does have some substantial added reliability. Not that I’ve had any of my primaries fail on meTriggertech creep chart. They do vary between models. They no longer have this chart on the website.
