Back when Tricer was just starting out I purchased one of the first Tricer-AD tripods I could get my hands on. I use my tripod very heavily for glassing during spring bear, summer scouting, and high country deer and elk in my home state of Wyoming. I also practice shooting long range off of the tricer tripod so I don’t end up in the field shooting off a tripod in a weird position for the first time. I upgraded from a cheaper manfrotto because although the smaller tripod I currently owned worked fine for glassing with my 10x42 SLCs, it didn’t even come close to supporting my BTX well enough to utilize that piece of glass and get the full potential out of it. Although I don’t use the center post very much, After a couple years of use I started noticing some movement in the center post of the tripod and no matter how tight I cranked down the tension it still would wobble, making it extremely difficult to glass smoothly. After my general season tags were over I contacted Tricer about the issue and I have to say the customer service was outstanding. They had me send them a short video of the issue I was having, and instead of trying to do a small part repair or replacement to bandaid the issue and hope it fixed it, they sent me a brand new tripod and had me return mine- even after a couple years of use on it. On top of that, I was in the middle of a late season elk tag when we were doing the warranty process and they were willing to send me the new tripod before having me send mine back, so I didn’t have to go without a critical piece of my gear during my hunt. All in all I was VERY impressed with the communication and the quality of customer support I received from them. I’ll be a customer of theirs for a very long time, and I’ll be happy to recommend their products to anyone in the market.
