I've used quite a few makes and models over the years. I had been running the BD Alpine cork models, but lost a lower section flicklock clamp in some nasty alders. Tried contacting BD to no avail. I'll be going back to my other tried and true Komperdells. Not sure which model, but they have aluminum lower section, carbon upper and go taller than most other models out there. Very handy for tarp setup or steep stuff.
