Curious if anyone ever attaches their treestand to their pack frame? I hunt sorta a hybrid style, carry a my treestand in each hunt set pegs and climb up. Thought it might be beneficial to put my treestand on my pack frame for longer walks in

It works well with a breakaway pack. The flatter Lone Wolfs are easier to compress this way than a bulkier stand like a Summit. IME it’s much more comfortable going this route than using the straps on the stand, even if you do the MOLLE harness and belt upgrades to the stand.

I have attached hang ons to an alice pack frame with hose clamps. Not bad if you have upgraded alice pack straps/belt but there is about 5# extra with the frame.

Here's what I do, I have an XOP vanish and 3 hawk helium sticks. I took an old internal frame pack and cut the bag off so I just that the frame, shoulder straps and the waist belt. My plan is to use the seat as a meat hauler if I get one and need to quarter it to pack it out. That way I don't have to make an empty trip back to my truck to get my other pack. My stand, sticks and pack (with safety harness) is right around 25-26#'s and with this setup I can carry it for miles without any issue. When I get to the tree I just remove the straps using quick buckles.125478125479

Pretty sweet setup! I run a lone wolf alpha I love those stands, XOP is basically same thing I think

I use an Exo with the Crib Load Panel to secure the stand to the outside of the pack. Works well so far

I have a Summit Viper treestand and have used the webbing straps on it to hang off of my Cabelas Outfitters frame pack by removing the top bar on the frame pack so there are two points sticking up on the top of the frame. I then would attach a small day pack to the outfitter frame so i could carry a day pack, water, and the tree stand on my back. It was a little bulky but allowed me to carry everything a mile or two into the national forest in North Carolina while still carrying a bow in my hand.

I do the same thing. Using a Kuiu Icon Pro and an X stand.
