Treat Your Down Garment

Any of you have any luck treating your untreated down jacket, pant, etc.? What did you use? I was looking at Grangers and Nikwax but wasn't sure if it was a gimmick.

I used grangers down proof on my sleeping bag. Hard to say if it made a difference. I Just did it after I washed it to re up the protection.

grangers wash. Dried on the lowest heat setting with tennis balls.
