Travel to Mexico?

I saw AA arrived in Miami outbound from Colombia, had a few bullet holes, not good.

Latin America can be great, but when it pops off, don't think for a minute you're in KS anymore. It isn't no "Bad Bunny Concert"

Just another American made regime change. They always work out well.
Are we still protecting the poppy fields in Afghanistan? (because, well, drugs bad)

I'm 70 and have a 20 year old truck and a 18 year old dirt bike.
Yeah, the cartels see me as a freaking gold mine.

Just use some sense people.

Watch Lord of War and War Dog's... May open your eye's how effectively munitions can be exchanged... Mexico is a fully corrupt country... The cartels are worth more then it's own government... A new drug lord will take his place... It will carry on... You'd figure the cartels would want the tourist area's like PV safe to stay off the radar and avoid this type of stuff... They're just making a point... And I said the same thing about Costco...

Well that was an interesting thread that turned into a tin-foil hat convention.

Back to the topic, going to PV in a couple days. Buddy who lives there says it was back to normal within 24 hours...so unless things change, it's off to Mexico.

I just got back from PV last night after being there for 12 days (5 unplanned). I was shocked at how quickly things went back to normal. Reach out to me if you have any questions.

I personally wouldn’t want to go back right now, but I don’t see it as crazy if someone still wanted to go. I met many people that arrived since Sunday.

One thing that can’t be overstated is how awesome the people are down there. Workers slept at the resorts Sunday night because it was not safe to travel and many worked back to back shifts because of it. Never lost power, internet, or access to food & water. I really hope this doesn’t impact them in the long term, they are amazing hardworking people
