Travel to Mexico?

About time. I’m really getting burnt out on war movies based in the Middle East. Can you imagine if we sent a couple tier one units to obliterate the cartels the cinema gold we could get from that?!

We were on a flight to Puerto Vallarta leaving tomorrow night. Not no more! Been to Mexico more times than I can count, but…..I’m thinking the right decision was to cancel. Especially when the airlines basically advised us to.
Maybe in a few months it will all be worked out and the Mexicans will elect another cartel leader to ensure violence stays out of tourist areas. Ha.

For sure. The power vacuum will need to be figured out, then it gets mellow for awhile, then that dude gets whacked. Rinse/repeat.

We have friends and acquaintances who travel to the resort areas of Mexico frequently to vacation and they claim that they have witnessed little or no cartel violence. In fact, some of them have told me they believe that these parts of Mexico are less dangerous than most parts of the U.S.A. What I will say is this: from a statistical perspective, they may be correct. However, it only takes one errant round to end a life and (curse my preservationist personality), I won't be planning on spending any time south of the border soon.
