Training - Hunting for Adults

Hi All,

New to the forum and I'm looking for an individual or organization who can help me pick up the skills to learn tracking, hunting (rifles), butchery and general safety/skills. I'm based in TX, so hopefully something there.

I'm looking for practical detailed knowledge not a basic Hunter education course such as the Texas state offered one.

Any advice?

Find a place where you can go out and hunt small game like rabbits.

Most people with a lifetime of hunting experience started out running around with a .22 hunting squirrels and rabbits. They are put together the same as a deer and provide opportunity to learn basic skills. Also, there's no pressure to be successful, no antlers, and the cost is low.
