I'm going up to scout for chukars in a few days before our season opens here in Idaho. I'm looking at a steep but promising area that isn't easy to access. Was wondering about putting up a trail cam or two - anyone done this for chukars or game birds other than turkeys? I found a brief mention on a website from a fellow who uses short stakes to mount the cameras; he didn't say much else.
