I've got an idea bit have no idea how to go about making something.

How would I power a trail camera if I had a 12v source of power?
Is anyone crafty with a 3d printer and some simple electronics to but something together like this?

Something like that.

That is all I run once the bears go to bed is 12v lithiums and trail cameras.

Amazon will have the cables. Make sure you get the chew resistant ones of you have squirrels etc.

I run the lithiums because they last, can handle the cold weather we get and they weight a lot less.

Make sure you match the camera plug size to the cable plug size and ensure that your camera can take 12v. Some cameras only run on 9v, like older Bushnell.

The biggest thing is the expense at the beginning. Batteries, cables, cases and cameras all add up. But over the long run, much cheaper than AA batteries.

Cheers
