What are some of the better shows to attend? I understand most have come and gone and it’s not that time of year, but would like to attend one next year.

Depends on what you're trying to get out of it. Gear, domestic hunting outfitters, international outfitters, firearms? Each show is different in the type of vendors that they attract.

Sheep show in Reno I hear is a good time (i'm hoping to go next time), Western hunt expo in Salt lake city is fun.

Sheep Show is like the Hunt Expo without all the BS of Hunt Expo. Same vendors, not as crowded, no sparkly jean wearing dudes running around with flat bills. I've been to both, I like Sheep Show a ton more than Expo. Unless you want to go see Mossback's show off area and give your money to SFW, then by all means Expo is for you.

If you're close to Dallas, the Dallas Safari Club show in January is a lot of fun. Obviously, a lot of outfitters from outside the US, but a plenty of domestic ones as well. My family loves going.

Rock Revival has matching denim masks now. I'm sure you can't wait for hunting season to pass so you can take in the people watching spectacle that is Expo

Nah, I like hunting season. The Expo is just something to do when you dont have anything else going on.

Sounds like most votes are for sheep show, after fondling all the cool gear what are some other things to do? I skimmed over there website, looked like nightly dinners and entertainment? I was going to bring the wife and send her spa/shopping during the day and meet back up at night. Any other things to do/see in big RENO?

The NRA show in Harrisburg PA is huge and fun to go to if you enjoy shows. They have it all. The PNW Sportsmans Show in Portland is a good show on a smaller scale.
