I had a cursory glance through and didn't see much discussion on this so I thought I'd ask.
How often do you all send in your torque wrenches for calibration? Do you trust your torque limiters when they have accuracy ratings of 10% to actually stop at 25 lb/in or fear them going up to 27 when the ring manufacturer clearly indicates not to exceed 25? Do you intentionally under set your torque devices in order to ensure ypu're under maximums?
I am likely being paranoid in excess and these aren't even problems anyone else wastes braincells on but it got me wondering when I bought a Wheeler F.A.T wrench and the calibration certification was years old, but my wrenches at work need to be recertified every 6 months.
