Topping a 280ai for hunting

Looking for some recommendations of a hunting scope for my 280ai, bolt action. Don't mind shooting 1,000yds at the range, but hunting will be shots less than 600yds. I like ffp, moa and i holdover rather than dial. Set a budget of $1500. With that said I do get the vortex and Leupold military discount.

Zeiss HD5 Conquest 2-10x42 with RZ600 reticle

I put a 4.5-14x40mm Leupold with the B&C reticle on my own .280 AI I had built a couple years ago. It's worked out very well for me and I really like the B&C reticle.
