Greetings!
Have a trip of a lifetime upcoming to Alaska. Shoes are almost impossible to find, let alone boots that fit well and don't hurt my worn-out feet. I ordered several boots, and the only ones that fit and feel good at the Topo Trailventure 2s. I have taken them on a few short sub-5-mile rucks with up to 90lbs and they have been amazing, dare I say perfect, but the terrain (Kansas) is nothing like what I will see in Alaska. I am concerned they will fail in the field. If you have run them and they held up great, I would like to know. Anything to look at instead would also be great, I am a 15, EDC gorucks that are acceptable but not up to the trip, and to lose in the heel under weight. I have normal to narrow heels and midfoot, and wide, goofy, arthritic jointed toes.
