Today is the last day to comment on Idaho thermal use, night vision, drone and cell cam use on ungulates only

I’m onboard with using thermal for predator hunting, same with cell cams. It might not be fair chase but lions and wolves need managed with every tool in the arsenal IMO.

I understand and support that, however, IMO they should totally ban them from Aug. 1st - Dec. 1st and allow them for everything else outside of those parameters. How many people will accidentally spot a big buck when looking for a wolf in Oct?

IMO they should do the same thing with cell cams, they are awesome during the winter for hunting predators.

I see what you're saying and I agree, don't just ban for ungulates during those dates, ban them entirely during those dates.
