I was hoping to find something lighter but that's the lightest I could find that still had a vertical grip

Does anyone know what the weight difference between the defiance deviant hunter which is 1.93 lbs and the pierce action with the complete bolt is 20.8 ounces then u would have to put on a 20 moa base and recoil lug. I'm trying to decide if how much weight gain it would be if I went with the deviant hunter over the pierce ti with base and recoil lug

I could ask a Buddy that has that action see if he weighed it ... Look into lone peak arms, they are coming out with a titanium action that has an integral lug and rail

i was also thinking 28 nosler but decided on 300 norma. game scout stock, defiance or pierce action, proof barrel, jewel trigger. Im just trying to decide if i want to go with the defiance or pierce. i wish i knew the weight difference between the two actions. Pierce action is 20.8 oz with out rail and recoil lug and the defiance is 1.93 lbs. the pierce rail is made of aircraft alluminum so guessing its pretty light also.

Here's the answer to your rail weight question. My friend has a 300 Norma built off the defiance and a 28 nosler built or a lone peak Razor titanium action, I think the finished weight of both rifles is really close

-Deviant Ultralight for the long action is 1.8 lbs
-Pierce with complete bolt is 20.8 oz Alum rail from above is 2.1oz

You should seriously email lone peak see if they have weights on their new titanium action they are claiming it will be available January

Not sure how long they've been in business ... Buddy that has there titanium action really likes it and my other buddy that's waiting on the new one with integral lug and rail said communication has been great, honestly if I wouldn't have to get a new barrel I'd swap out my action for one, I think the fit and finish look nicer
