Just wondering how the proof sendero lite barrel is?
Do you have any poi shift after shooting a few rounds?
I'm planning the same build in a 28 nosler just not sure if I should go with the sendero or sendero lite 4oz difference between the two

Sheepaholic, I havent noticed any POI change but the most I've ever shot is a 5 shot group, wasnt super quick, maybe 30 seconds between shots. Buddy built one almost identical as mine with the Sendero contour, I think I like the looks of it more but if you're trying to save all the weight you can I dont think you'll have any complaints with the lite sendero.

Did mcmillian do that paint color for you or did you have it dipped. I'm trying to decide on what color to go with for my new stock. Whats the biggest difference between the htg and the game scout stock? right now those two are the ones I'm deciding on

I really like the vertical grip for shooting prone, get the feel of their A3/A5 stocks without all the extra bulk, yes they painted both stocks they are black with grey speckles

i was looking at some specs on the game scout and it said only takes up to #5 barrel? The proof is bigger than that, how did you do that?

My gunsmith is building me a carbon titanium as well and I am using a gamescout stock and sendero barrel. He said he will have to open the barrel channel a little but fits nice.

one advantage you might have with the EH-1 is you probably wouldnt need any sort of stock pack on there to get a good cheek weld

would i be able to get the game scout stock with edge fill in the sendero contour for the 338, or won't mcmillian do that?

They won't warranty any edge fill above 300 Win. But I've had two edge fills with a 300 rum and 338 Lapua with zero issues. So yes, they can make it.

i suppose if your gonna run a good brake you shouldn't have and issues i would think. I'm going with the t3

I ended up putting a cheek saddle (or whatever it is called) on the game scout. I bought it from Defensive Edge
