Has anyone ran the defiance ti-x yet? I’m curious if the dlc coating makes it feel smooth unlike other titanium actions.
I just bought one and played with it a little bit before sending it to the smith to be chambered. Weight was accurate at 16.8 oz and is not sticky at all that I can tell but I also was not cycling it with ammo in it.

Titanium is okay on 308 bolt face, I don't like it for magnums. I'd get something with integral lug and rail. That means lone peak fuzion ti, or defiance ti x. They're 19.5oz and 16.5oz respectively I believe. My next two recommendations for non Ti with integral rail/lug, are the bat bumblebee and kelbly nanook. These two can be had with 75° bolt lift but are in the 23-27oz range. I love my bumblebee, but I'm building a ti/carbon 6cm with a fuzion ti hoping to land at 6# bare rifle.
