Hankook Dynapro ATM. Great on pavement, snow, mud and wear great too. I was very very happy with mine this past goose season - probably saved our butt several times.

F150 in AZ, had Pro Comps Xtreme, hated them. Went to to Cooper ST MAXX, what a tire. Does great on road, snow, rain, ice and even light mud. Going thru gravel/shale and side wall splitting rocks, the Maxx has great sidewall and E rated. Towed bass boat, duck boat a jeep and rode very well. I kept them rotated about every 2500 and they wore very well. I don't recall milage, about 3 years of driving, 50 - 60k. Put on a 2nd set, now more of a daily driver to/from work, I put on Cooper AT3. Great for daily and light off road use/gravel roads, but nothing to crazy.

My next truck, I would like to to run 2 sets of tires, Cooper STT mud for hunting season then a solid E tire for rest of the year, maybe even the ST Maxx again. Next truck is leaning to be a 3/4 new 2017 F250 diesel. I do like the floor shifter in the F150 FX4 model, but new F Siers look sweet.

Running BFG All terrains on the Dmax right now after having good luck with them on my Toyota PU in the past. I don't know if they changed the rubber compound or if this truck is just too heavy for them but I won't be paying the high price for these again.

I switched from the BFG KM2(stopped producing these in my size) to Toyo Open Country M/T's for my latest set. They are much quieter, and seem to go just as well in the mud. I can also tell they are wearing much better.

These are 255-85-16's:

I've also had great results with the Hankook Dynapro ATM (all terrain). On my second set now. First set got over 65,000 miles and still had a bit of life left when I replaced them before last hunting season. They're on a Nissan XTerra.

Have a set of Cooper STT-Pro coming for the Ram 2500 tomorrow. First time I've ever ponied up for a set of mud tires over all-terrain tires, but this truck is heavy and will probably get stuck on wet grass without some good tires. If I get 40k miles I'll be happy with them. Plus, they're American made.

greentimber, I think you'll like those STT Pros. Great tires. If anyone in SE TN, N GA area is looking for a good deal on a set of tires I have a set of 285/75 R16 Duratracs that I took off of my Tacoma with 16k miles on them. I can get tread measurements if you want. I went back down to 265/75's for clearance and to get a little power back, and also back to ST Maxx. I got over 70k miles out of my last set, and would have been 80k most likely if I hadn't of drove it around for a year with the front end out of alignment :)

I run Goodyear MTR Kevlar in 285/75/16's on my 2002 Tacoma. I have about 50k on them now with no real signs of wear. It does help that my truck does not weigh much. They are fairly quiet for an aggressive tire. This is the tire I will run on my truck for life.

Yep, they'll do fine on a Tacoma. My boss put a set on his 2500 duramax and he hasn't hit 20k miles yet and they're almost bald. Good tires for lighter trucks, but diesels eat those things up. I know quite a few people who run them on their jeeps with success as well.

I'm liking the looks of the new Toyo Open Country R/T. Seems to be the perfect cross between the Toyo A/T and M/T. Thinking about trading in my A/T I have now on a set before this Fall

I have had 4 sets of nitto trail grapplers and one set of Terra grapplers. On either a 2008 or 2012 ram3500 Cummins. Lots of towing and dirt roads. I have gotten anywhere between 44 and 60k out of them. They are great tires, durable, relatively quiet.
This is my situation on an '11 Tundra. Luv'm.

Agree, I had the AT's and have not been happy with them. They have lasted well but leave a little to be desired off the pavement.

It's between the R/T's and the cooper ST max for my next set.
