Tipi tent replacement center post

Best as in strongest or lightest?
The Durston pole carbon fiber set can be modified to use as a single pole in a teepee and is under 6oz. (Just requires changing end caps and using the adjustable segments at both ends.) about $80

Been using the Cimarron since 2016 I believe and haven’t found a reason to look for anything else - it just works. Tons of room for 1-2 guys for hunts and use it for family trips with the wife, kiddo and a dog. Wife and kid sleep in a 1/2 nest and the dog and I sleep on the dirt - everyone is happy.

Also have a Courthouse that is great for 2-3 guys when flying in, using pack animals or truck hunts.

I looking for one that’s sturdy and that’s adjustable.
REI sells one that goes to about 8 1/2'-9'

Adjustable aluminum about 1 1/8" diameter, strong but also heavy. I sometimes use it for my homemade tipi [8' tall, 12.5' diameter] as a base camp pole, otherwise I just cut one if packing it in

I bought a custom length aluminum pole for my Kifaru Tut from BearPaw Wilderness Designs. Fixed length at 78" in 5 sections. Works perfectly and saved almost a half-pound over the factory aluminum pole. ($40 shipped if I remember correctly)

Did you do a custom tent pole?

Yes I did. I wanted something lighter than the factory aluminum pole and didn't need an adjustable pole length. I run my pole at 78" all the time and have 12" or 2mm cord and cord locks on all the ground stake loops. It allows me to get the Tut 4-8" off the ground for excellent ventilation.
