Timberline 2... Will I get enough lift?

I'm curious on how much lift the Timberline 2 with 24" composite stays will provide me- I'm just a bit shy of 6'1", and I guess I should probably measure my torso, but I'd estimate it at 20".

Do I want to trade for some 26" stays? Lift from this pack varies in pictures I've seen, but I guess the angle at which the load lifters sit is also adjustable?

Thanks....

24" is 24". 26" is 26".

What was the question?

Will 26" get you more lift than 24"?...................Well,.....Yes,.......Yes it will!

Did I miss something?

Ironman, my apologies; I think I worded my question poorly.

I really should just wait patiently for my pack to arrive, but the gist of my inquiry is- will the 24" stays provide adequate lift for me?

I could be wrong but I believe 24" is recommended for 5'10" and down. Best bet is to call Kifaru or Aron.

i'm 5'11 and i got the 26" stays. i was worried it was going to be too much lifter angle. but it wasnt..i dont think it is even that steep.

6' would be better with 26". I can wear a 26" with no issues and I am 5'6" so I would think you are pushing it at 6' with a 24". But that is assuming your torso size is normal for your height.

I have one pack with 24" and another with 26"... I am about 5'8". The 26" feels much better but the 24" still feels good... If that makes any sense.

I'm 5'9 and the only pack I've had with 24" stays was a T3 (cause thats the longest they came in). Its much easier to dial down on the lift of a 26" stay pack than to wish for 2 more inches on a 24" pack. I vote for 26" stays all the way, but thats just me.
