Tikkas with factory threaded barrels?

If it helps anyone I saw a t3x stainless at scheels in Rochester, MN. The website said 22” but it was clearly actually 20” (with a threaded barrel). I put it next to two guns labeled as 20” to confirm.

Just got my “ember tech” from euro for right at 1k. Love it!

beautiful. is the barrel diameter different on that than the regular fluted superlites? looks like yours barrel does not flare out towards the muzzle to accommodate the threading.

Yep, i just got a 243 stainless from Eurooptic and it is 20” instead of 22”.
That’s good to know, a factory takeoff 243 that’s threaded at 20” would be hard to beat if you could get one under $300 if/when they find their way to the used market.

Is it the new flared muzzle with 5/8 x 24 threads?

Yes, it's 5/8x24 threads. I haven't shot it yet, but just ordered some 109 ELDMs and 243 brass.

Still nothing 18”?

So the new threaded are 20-24” and there’s also some 223s in 16”, just making sure I’m up to speed!

Yes, as far as I can tell, but it doesn't seem like all the product descriptions are accurate, so there might be some different barrel length options. Luckily my parents live pretty close to Euooptic, so I was able to go into the store and was pleasantly surprised when the 22" stainless 243 rifles were actually 20".

Some options are also only available right now in blued or stainless, but not both. As far as I could tell at Eurooptic, the 16" 223 5/8-24 threaded guns were only blued.

Back in Sportco a couple of days ago. They had right-handed and left-handed 20" threaded T3x rifles in 308.

For those of us that are not in suppressor-friendly states and don't want to run a muzzle device, does it make sense to track down an outgoing models to save a little weight off the end of the barrel?

Looking to pick up a .223 T3x compact for my son but can only order a threaded version through my local gun shop. Sportsman's has one non-threaded .223 T3x compact left in stock, EuroOptic also has a few at 8% off msrp.
