I'm getting peer-pressured into picking up a T3..

Do you guys upgrade the trigger? Does the trigger feel good? Do you have to mess with it a ton or does it shoot well out of the box?

I just pulled the action, turned the allen screw down to the lightest setting and put it back together (torqueing the action screws to spec). It's about 2 lbs, and it's fine for hunting, not too light.

trigger as easy to adjust and very good.
as said just wind them down to lightest they go(2lbs) and they are good to go.
you wont regret it.
Ive shot 4 Tikkas all shoot 1/2 MOA with hand loads and around 1-1 1/2 MOA with factory ammo.
very reliable

As noted one of the advantages to owning a tikka. Adjust to your preference and only takes minutes. If looking for an inexpensive tack driver with custom features this is a great choice.

I'm not much for doing gun work, but the Tikka's are very easy to adjust. The consistency is good too. It's ok to give in to the pressure, just buy one.

I'd talk ya out of it, but i bought one yesterday in 7mm. With a soon to follow trigger adjustment (which sounds easy thanks to you guys), some new rings and a new Zeiss mounted up. Hoping it's a shooter and a heck of a lot lighter than my Browning 7mm BOSS that i've been totting around since '97.

Honestly one of the best factory triggers Ive ever felt, turned mine down to 2lbs, it breaks clean everytime
