Tikka T3x Scope Rings

Got the sport match for my dad's tikka, they are soild.

Wanted the Sport Match for my razor LH but sadly doesn't seem like they are offered in low mount height, don't want the elevation of mediums defeats the purpose of going as low as possible.

I ordered a set of TO48C for my T-3X Superlite. Looking at measurements, these result in the scope only 1-1.5 MM higher than the TO84 rings (for 30MM scopes). A Talley lightweight low for the T3x is .5" (12.7mm) while the TO48C is advertised at 13mm. About the same.
On a T3X I used to have with TO84s, an SHV 3-10x42 didn't have much room to spare. Once I get it all I'll see how it actually plays out. I too do not want a scope any higher than necessary.

Medium is plenty low. Actually, if they made lows they might not fit with the LHT. Here’s some T084 with a Vortex LHT and Defender caps.

Same for me as many - SportsMatch in the Medium height and a 3-15X44.

I stripped the head on one of the dovetail screws today trying to remove the scope. Anyone know off-hand what size/thread these are for a replacement? I looked on the Sportsmatch site and couln't find the info or any extras for sale. I couldn't even definivtely tell if they are 4mm or 5mm, much less length and thread pitch. Thanks.

I just got mine this week from Tawnado airguns. I have the TO84 and looking on the back of the package they say 4mm thread diameter screws. Sportsmatch has an email address, did you try to fire them off an email?

I received both the TO84 and TO48C rings this week. Lining them up, the 1" scope with TO48C will have its centerline .1" higher than a 30mm with the TO84.

The screw is a M4x16 socket cap. And Sportsmatch offered to mail me some extras when I emailed to ask.

Good to know. I have 3 sets of sportsmatch tikka rings and the 3 sets have 3 different screw head size/patterns makes a guy wonder what else they change around..

I see spuhr is now making direct mounts in both tactical and hunting styles for the trg/t3x. I ordered one of the plain Jane hunting mounts to give a go and get rid of the rail.

Anyone have a lead on TO84 rings right now? I've tried all the usual places and can't seem to find any.

Edit: I'd also take TO48C if I could only find those.

Anybody have a pic of the TO48’s mounted with maybe a 40mm or 42mm scope? Just curious to see how they look.

Thanks for posting! They are a little tall but not too tall. I have a set I have to mount soon and I am thinking my Vortex 2-10 Razor would sit nicely in them.
