We had three 6.5 Creedmoors in the safe, so I decided to diversify a bit. I picked up a PRC and a 308. This is one of the Creeds I’m letting go. It has been hunted with, so there are a few scuffs; however, it has been well cared for. It will include the spacer to increase the LOP. I don’t know the exact round count, but I’m sure it is around 150 or less. It shoots sub MOA with factory Hornady Superformance 129 SST ammuntion and the Leupold has a custom turret for that round. The scope has been mounted in the Warne rings through several hunting seasons, some drops, and a lot of dialing out to 600 yards at our range. I have never had to readjust the zero. My son consistently hit the steel at 600 with this rifle and had a lot of fun doing it. It is accurate and deadly. It killed two deer last year- an eight-point buck at 300 yards and a doe at 185. We did one range session with a few handloads. It was MOA with 4350 and 143 ELD-X with everything between 39 and 41.5 grains. That was all we tried. It shot a 3/16” three-shot group with a 40-grain charge.
Ideally, I would like to sell this as a package to someone who wants a hunting-ready setup. If that is the case, I would take $950 shipped to your FFL for the rifle and scope with Butler Creek Covers mounted in the Warne dovetail rings. I will also send the 26 remaining rounds of Hornady Superformance 129 SSTs I have left to you separately as long as it is legal to do so in your state. I will include the box and the original MOA zero locking turret for the Leupold.
