Tikka T3X Arca Rail.

Well, I think Im finally ready to show people the project I've been working on. I'd like an arca swiss rail on my tikka t3x Superlite but I am too lazy to drill and tap. This uses the accessory screw on the standard tikka stock and does not require any action screw fuckery. Ive shot about 100rounds threw it and it seems to be holding up well. It uses a 3D part and weighs about 30g with a screw/washer setup. Looking to get some custom DRing screws made so you can take it on and off in the field without the need of a tool. What's everyone's thoughs? Anything you would change?

Yeah, it looked like it was sticking out wider than the sides of the forearm of the stock. Seems like it would catch on things. What color is your stock? I like it.

Yea that's the issue with the arca swiss plate. No way to get it smaller and still use that system. Its a tikka t3x superlite western. Ive done a lot to it. Cerakote, Custom break, and a lot of polishing.

I just used a arca plate from Amazon and got some longer M3 Allen screws from the hardware store. I used both the same hole that you did and the hole where the sling stud is

I’d love to ditch my bi pods and get a firm lock up when shooting from my tripod. Another year later, how is this working for you? Still happy? Would you change anything? Thanks

Well haven't shot anything with it but it's survived about 50 rounds and still going strong. It's able to hold the whole weight of the rifle and be steady on a lightweight tripod
