Hello all

I recently purchased a new to me Tikka T3 Lite stainless in .260 Remington. I have heard the reputation of the Tikkas and love the caliber. However, I already have a Winny Classic Featherweight in 6.5x55...

Does anyone have any experience with the T3 Lite in .260? Accuracy with the 6.5 Bullet is great I suspect but I can't find much about the rifle out there as it appears Tikka hasn't imported many in the T3 Lite configuration.

Trying to decide if I should keep and use or get something different due to owning the Swede.

Thoughts and experiences appreciated.

Well, I love the tikka t3 lites and would never talk someone out of one. That being said, your classic swede is one classic cartridge and will do everything that you need it to especially when you compare it to the 260. So, you already have a 6.5 so get something different or maybe look at spending the money on glass----although I don't know what you have now.

That's my quandary...keep it as a backup gun to my kimber Montana or sell and put the money toward a quality spotter. Optically, I am fine (Leica binos)

I have seen many upgrades out there but don't see the benefit to upgrading (stock, bolt shroud, fluting, etc.) and would just get another kimber or go the cooper route instead if that was my goal.

Decisions decisions...
