The thread sizing has nothing to do with how powerful the cartridge is. It’s not the silencer is going to fly off from a 300wm but is totally ok with a 30-06.
The thread sizing on the thin barrels is just a concern from some manufacturers because the base of the threads is very thin and the barrel could get damaged in a fall or something. The guys from thunderbeast have posted about this here on rokslide. It’s just an issue of barrel strength not pressure. The issue is the same regardless of bullet cartridge.
