I don’t know, it’s my hunting rifle, it fills my freezer every year. That looks like a great bench rest stock but might not work ideally for hunting applications.

You mention this is for young teenagers. Make the rifle fit their body well and reduce recoil.Based on feedback it sounds like the vertical grip is a priority followed by some type of cheek riser and lastly the limbsaver airtech.
Given that this rifle will mainly be for my sons 13/11yrs old to shoot and the fact that its still a 6.5cm, how big of deal is the limbsaver for recoil purposes? Im worried the extra LOP would be a detriment for the kids.
I was also looking into installing a bipod rail which looks like it would require some slight modification to the structural webbing of the stock for the tnut install followed by some epoxy to hold everything in place.
Im still trying to decide if its worth investing the time/$ into the tikka stock or look for alternatives. Aside from stoxkys and the rokstock, the mesa/pure precision stocks seem to be common upgrade.

Yes. PM me if you’d like some pictures of my Wildcat and information on the shooting experience, transaction, bedding process, etc.Considering youre canadian. Call Wildcat composites. Stuart is a super cool guy. Talk to him and he can do something up nice for you. Made in canada so you wont be bent over on duties, and dollar conversion. Theyre also going to be the lightest weight aftermarket stock youll find.
