Tikka spins in barrel vise

Ok I got it. It was a combo of penetrating oil, heat, 40 grit ceramic sandpaper, cuss words, and torque. I beat the hell out for the action wrench while swearing. There is definitely corrosion in the threads. I had gotten ready to cut relief in the barrel but gave it one more college try

For those of you that have asked, the action wrench is a wheeler engineering, the barrel vise was mounted into a vertical 2x6 with deck lag bolts and the structure of the bench is built just like a deck (16" centers of 2x6 with 3/4 plywood for the top) with 4x4 legs.PXL_20260712_195946646.jpgPXL_20260712_200003257.jpg

I tried that to no avail. It was stuck stuck.

I'm pretty sure I damaged one of the barrel vise bolts by torquing it so hard. I'll fix that later
If it's thread damage I can look up the die I used to fix mine if that helps.
